Plastic is currently the basic component of a vast number of products. Once it is finished with, its residues become non-degradable material that is difficult to eliminate from the environment. Furthermore, plastic is produced from fossil fuels, that is to say, non-renewable energy sources, and is also the cause of green-house gas emissions.
Neuron BioIndustrial has developed TriBioPlast®,a new “clean” technology to produce plastics from micro-organisms. These plastics are doubly ecological. On the one hand they are biodegradable and on the other they come from biological resources such as industrial or food by-products/residues. |
